Well friends, after playing the Hamer Korina soapy for a couple of days I decided to bite the BIGGER bullet and complete my Santana collection . ( I have a Cherry Westie and PS Semi ) I didn't have any PRS with Moons or Korina so 2 ++s

Picked up the sweet KL33 at Lovie's ( to beat the Reverb upcharge) Many thanks to Sergio for his persistent reminders on the magic of this one..

The only thing that stopped me in the past was the looks, once I played an all Korina it was an EASY choice. It was FATE there was one available ( which had been on my watch list) For grins I checked Lovie's site and of course it was less ... oh happy day

What about the looks had previously made you hesitate? Me personally, I really like the understated vibe of the Korina PRSes ...

One of the things I'm known for as a luthier is highly figured instruments , There is a camp that thinks straight grain sounds better..and there's the wild bunch. My Hamer has a nice subtle sunburst that makes it more eye friendly, I wouldn't mind the same sunburst on my KL33
