Kingfisher pickup noise

I recently bought a Kingfisher bass. Although I absolutely love it, the pickups are so noisy, they almost ruin the sound of the guitar.

I took it to a local luthier and was told it was definitely the pickups. Anyone else have this issue or suggestions on how to resolve it?

I can't find a place where I can buy replacement pickups.

My pickups on my Kingfisher are very quiet.
I would contact Customer Service at PRS and explain the situation to them.
