I have one of two according to prs.. one piece top 09 mccarty k.q. Its a great guitar but i like custom 24s.. am i crazy for wanting to trade it

If you prefer a 24, make the trade. You can still get a killer quilt

No, you're not crazy. I've traded away more revered/highly-regarded guitars "just because." Sometimes there is no explanation, it's just gut feel--if you want the Custom 24, then go for it.

I think you should hold on to it and sell other gear and save for the C24, but that's what I would to.

If your Quilt top is like 11 Top's, then you shouldn't let it go.

Some guys LOVE quilts and some guys HATE quilts.

I personally love a good quilt, and I only have one,but it's amazing.

Here's the top on my G****n LP, and even if it's not a 1 piece, it's a keeper for me.

Dr Survival says two is one and one is none.

It always has to be a Prime Number of guitars. So, if you've got 13, and get one more, you can't stop until you get to 17.
