Hey all,

I recently put together a mashup of a couple of Khruangbin tunes, here:

It’s the first recording i’ve done entirely from scratch, so I would welcome any and all feedback/suggestions for improving the mix, production, anything really. It was definitely interesting trying to approximate Mark Speer’s Strat/Fender tone on a PRS. Hope you enjoy.

I love Khruangbin! Very cool that you chose to learn this and cover it.

Very nice touch and feel, on Speer's deceptively simple guitar part.

Lots of confidence there. Well done!

=K

PS - He ain't afraid of reverb and delay, izzee? :)

thanks! and no, he certainly is not afraid of those, especially in live settings which is the sound i was going for

Cool stuff JMB239! I don't know the original material, but it sounded good on my end (some of it sounding very Grateful Dead/Jerry Garcia)!! Only thing I would mention production/sound wise is, the chorded stuff could use a beefier sound IMO, seemed a bit thin on the tone for those parts!!! That said, maybe this is how the original stuff is, but that is my two cents!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!!
