I told my wife the same thing...she said that I'd already told her that story.

Jared did a great job. Heard him interviewed on NPR a couple months ago talking about his mother and family.

I did, too. Really heartfelt. From what my son tells me, with Jared what you saw is the real deal. He loves his family, he's great to his friends, and is down to earth. Jamie hangs out with him a lot, and he's been a really good friend and mentor.

And the talent? It's there. Hard work? No one works harder. He leads a really healthy lifestyle, so much so that he got Jamie into the best shape of his life, healthy eating habits, etc.

I have a ton of respect for the man for too many reasons to list. He's a very impressive person.

I thought it was great too. I was impressed the length of time they let him speak too, they didn't start cutting him off or anything. It was almost Bono-like...where nobody interrupts Bono no matter how long he talks. :laugh:
