Newest video from their album coming out on the 23rd. Didn't expect to see a HB II in the vid. Normally I think they both play CU24s.

LOVE this band! Easily my favorite "newer" band to have come out in the last several years. I've seen them live twice in the last few years and they were awesome.

yea love them - discovered them last month and been listening to them loads since!

Hopefully get across to London to see them later in the year

I'm a new listener to these guys, they've been pretty under the radar here in UK but very cool.

I love how they're very progressive and yet easy to listen too. Some prog just gets too hard to follow. Not these guys.

Plus they have a real tone palette. THey seem to be bored with a sound and move quickly always keeping it interesting!

Not in love with the new record like I usually am, but I am a HUGE Karnivool fan. Hopefully they finally make it to the US on this album cycle.

It took me a little bit to really get into the new album. Was the same with Sound Awake but not quite as long. I think anytime a band goes creatively in a different direction, that happens. It's nice they keep it interesting album to album. I saw them a couple times on the Sound Awake tour and they were great both times.

Didn't know Drew used a CE 24, thought they both used customs. Thanks!

Karnivool guest programmed on Rage over the weekend. Rage is a music clip show here is Aus that just plays music clips back to back on weekends, and regularly have guest artists come in and play clips they like or influenced them.

Here's the list:

A few surprises here and there, and one hilarious one right before the obligatory "play our own songs section"

Love them too! Just discovered them a couple months ago from a Total Guitar or Guitarist mag, i can't remember. Checked them out, dig their style a lot, especially the dark moody atmosphere that their songs give, kinda like Dream Theater's music on diet, more trimmed and less fats. hmm...so they're on my playlist now!

I love the ambient sounds they pull, they have some epic vocal melodies too

I finally got the hard copy of Asymmetry(yes I bought the album 2x cause I like em that much). The live DVD is awesome.
