Just spotted this via a FB post, and checked the PRS website:

Looks great, love the Brushstroke birds.

Of course, it is probably priced outside my comfort level, but hey, nice to see new & different product!

Oh, two important-to-some factors:

"Ready to travel to any gig, the PRS Kanami Limited Edition ships in the new PRS ATA multi-fit molded case."

"This limited edition is hand-signed by Kanami on the guitar’s backplate. Only 200 of the PRS Kanami Limited Edition will be made."

Just put my deposit on one. Way more exciting that the poop dragon or 40th from last week imo. Limited to 200, quilt tops and hand signed plates. Pretty special. I am surprised PRS decided to announce this when they did though. It'll fly under the radar because of all the marketing material still in the air for the 40th stuff. They should have waited a couple weeks.

I'm not a brushstroke bird guy. I do like the color but I bet that color will fade very fast by the looks of it. It already looks lighter color on the top compared to the bottom. Trampas was notorious for fading in the past to a yellowish tint.

I just wish they didn’t have to wear those stupid costumes and were about the music.

My thoughts, meh. I don't really see anything other than the brushstroke birds and signed control cavity cover that really sets this apart in any meaningful way from a Wood Library 35th Anniversary Custom 24 that will justify what is almost certainly going to be a near Private Stock price tag. All that being said, it's a cool looking fiddle, but my Core 35th Anniversary Custom 24 does the exact same thing.

Its sub 6k, my man. I just got my deposit in at my dealer for 7500 CAD plus tax ( $5400 USD). Canadian MSRP is $8070.

Thin Neck, Mini Toggles, What's Not To Love? For Me, Everything.

When Is PRS Going To Make A Core Custom 24 With A Wide Fat Or Similar Neck Without A Blade Switch Or Mini Toggles? Fixed Bridge And Trem Options? I Know I Am Not The Only One Wanting A Guitar Like This.

Beautiful instrument. First time I’m somewhat tempted by a Custom24 but €7560 is way more than what I’d be willing to pay.
