Just wondering? (408 style Pickup Rings VS Classic Rings)

Do you think we will eventually see the 408/Paul's Guitar variety of pickup rings bleed over into the Core line?

Would you like those rings on other guitars or no?

Just the kind of things that plague my mind daily... I know, I have issues...

I wanna see a 408 pickup ring that covers the excess opening from a standard humbucker, so I can install 408s without having to plug, re-route, and re-finish.
