My goal was to create an instrument that was a piece of "functional art". I have another Private Stock with a Pattern Thin neck, so I knew how it would feel, and I was familiar with how the pickups would sound, so the bulk oof the decisions involved the wood and the specific details. A lot of thought went into those details, and PRS did a tremendous job.
