strings on my 2013 Angelus Artist, and I 'gotta say they sound mighty good! I had mostly been using Martin Marquis strings of the same gauge, I liked them just fine, but bought 3 sets of the EB's at GC (on sale now for $20) and definitely giving me a different tone that I'm liking.
Just saying-LOL;

Interesting. What were you using before?

I have a 2013 Tonare Private Stock with maple sides and back, and I really like it with the D'Addario 80/20 coated Bluegrass strings (that's what it came with from the factory). I tried the D'Addario Phosphor Bronze, and didn't care for how it sounded. I took them off after a week or so and went back to the 80/20s.

But it's always interesting to try new strings.

I just went for the Aluminum Bronze on my '61 Gibson J45 and LOVE them. Dynamically they are very lively and the sound is clearer and more focused especially on the low end. I come from and continue to use EB Earthwoods which I also love.
