The 85/15s are definitely my favorite pickups that I've played from PRS. I would like to try the \M/ pickups sometime, but the 85s give me plenty for what I like playing. I have both a 2015 30th Anniversary Custom 24 with regular 85/15s and a new 2020 Custom 24 with the new 85/15 TCI pickups. Not sure about how different they are on paper, but in terms of sound, the TCIs seem to have a little more output and possibly clarity to them. It is hard to do a direct comparison since the 2015 has 9s on the bottom and is setup lower than the other, which has 10s and is stock. But I get the feeling the clarity and slightly higher output/articulation would still hold true because I also noticed those things vs. the newer CE24s with 85/15s.
I think the TCIs are slightly better for higher gain too (below).
