So, are we adding a new category for pedals? I left this here until we figure it out.

#NPD

I caved to pressure, bought into the hype and got an official PRS Horsemeat Transparent Drive pedal from John Manns Guitar Vault.

This is a cool drive pedal. There is a lot of tone variation available when you fiddle with the knobs. It works great with any guitar i plug into it. For me it sounds like a pedal you would use in a studio through a very clean amp or DI'd into the board. Not that there is anything wrong with that. It is a very smooth OD. The break up seems consistent and appropriate for whatever gain level is set and how hard I played. Overall, I like it, and may actually try the other two pedals.

Sorry no pictures, we all know what it looks like, and they all look the same.

Yep - finally pulled mine out and put it in the rig this week. Took the ToneBone Hot British out of the rotation for now - that had been my go to dirt tone. The Horsemeat is forcing me to think differently. I like that.

He did say 'pulled mine out and put it in the rig today.' I say it's fair game.
