Just got an SE Custom 24, now I have a question...

So I got an SE Custom 24 online like many other people on here might have done recently, though at this point after playing it for a week or so I'm quite confused...

For the past 10 years all I have played is Stratocasters and I really haven't tried anything else. Now that I have this new guitar I've noticed it's quite a bit harder to bend notes in comparison to the Stratocaster, especially on the lower frets...however I thought due to the scale length it should be easier on the PRS guitar. They both have the same gauge of strings (9s) so I'm a bit confused.

Any thoughts?

maybe the 3+3 headstock on the PRS vs the inline on the fender? the longer the string is after an anchor point (nut, saddle) the easier bends "feel".

Are you using the same brand of strings on both guitars? Differences between various brands and materials can make a significant difference in the feel of bends.

Same with differences in setup.
