1st off....I have to say I'm glad I don't lust for a $350k LP Burst...or even a $15k PRS. I feel the guitar is secondary, once you have a quality instrument...basically any PRS. This 'Lil SE Torero just blew my dress up. I have several Super Vee equipped guitars...a competitor to a Floyd. So...immediately after changing strings and setting up this whammy, it's as stable as my Huskie dog, fighting against her winter bath!
Then there are the EMG pickups. No swap...no flipping bridge to neck ...no nothing. This 81/85 combo with a new Duracell, just tore the paint off my Helix and sent my little spare backup, Nux-MG30 into outer space. My keyboard player AND my wife just oogled how gorgeous this PRS spaceship actually is. No new gold or white hardware replacements...the white and black is like ebony and ivory. Perfect choices.
I'd write another 10,000 words on the beauty of the 25.5" ebony fretboard, uncluttered with some sort of fret etchings. The tummy curve fits like a pair of old blue jeans and of course, my parts supply had my Staplocks of choice in black with matching strap.
PRS took a gamble and hit a grandslam. I can understand why some John Mayer wannabee wouldn't choose this guitar. But this guitar is right in the middle of the strike zone for me....UNaltered....'cept the straplocks and fresh stainless .09 strings.
Wowza!!!

Awesome congrats! Killer guitar. The neck is fantastic! The board is sooo good n clean.

I'm one that prefers the swap of the EMGs, not just on the Torero. The 85 in the bridge thickens up the tone and takes a lil bite off the highs. The 81 highs in the neck really makes a great neck tone. Give it a shot on next string change. Plug and play. I also did the 18v mod but not sure it was worth it or not? Didn't hurt though, just not sure I'd do it again.

Yeah...I for sure knew that...but didn't want to casually drop the names of rock stars in my posts..
But...I can understand the reasons. That said, I enjoyed cutting the head off my keyboardist, when I did some pinch harmonic picking and slammed the Floyd up a half octave...then back down to the basement, to clean out any doubts of subterranean existence.
