Anyone own the DVD or BluRay?
I bought the latter via Amazon earlier in the week, and I watched about 1/2 of it yesternight.

Gosh it is good, and the band is very tight with the younger guitar player that replaced KK.

The only complaint I have and a few of the reviewers at Amazon stated is the guy who did the final editing switches to much between camera shots.
Some may have a seizure induced :D
It is livable though, but I hate it when they do that on concert discs, why not focus more on the whole band or a player for a bit instead of switching scenes every two seconds?

Anyways, the disc sounds great!
Had my living room shaking from the thunderous bass and drumming.

Will finish the disc later today when I can have the TV up loud again :D

That looks like it might be pretty awesome, but thanks for the warning. I hate few things in life; I just figure they're not for me, but to each his own, but I HATE the camera not staying on one thing for more than 3 seconds. Iron Maiden concert films were horrible with this also.

Well, I just got done watching the whole thing, you get use to the camera angles shifting every few seconds.
I can say they have one of the best laser, spot light, smoke, and pyrotechnic shows I have ever seen.
Several smoke and fire cannons on the stage firing in unison to the music, it is fantastic eye candy :D

I strapped on my 408 and fired up the Blackstar HT5R for the very last song which is Living After Midnight since I can play the whole song very well.
Much to my dismay when I barre chorded the E on the 7th fret I was a half step high.
The MP3 I have is tuned to standard tuning, but they have tuned down a half step to E flat, so I was not prepared for that, and had to adjust my playing some.

I am going out on a limb here, but would they have tuned down a half step since Halford is older now and he may not be able to sing as high?
Or would there be another reason for tuning down to E flat for all of their songs?

Anyways, this disc rocks!

This is the same as the disc I just watched, the drummer telling the audience that they are on the DVD/Blu-Ray disc they are making for the tours end.

Thanks for the preview Corey. Speaking of lights and lasers and smoke, have you ever seen a Trans Siberian Orchestra show? Truly over the top, with metalized Christmas and classical music. what more could you ask for?

I have the DVD but haven't watched any yet. I did see a chunk of this on Palladia a while ago, and it looked really cool.

I hate the frenetic editing that is so commonplace today. Check out Wings' "Rockshow" for a great contrast - there's a panning shot early in that one that goes on for about 40 seconds, including about 10-15 seconds where you can't see anything.

I need to get that. I saw Priest on their final tour. You know, it was kind of bittersweet. It wasn't so much as a good-bye as a trip through their catalog.
