Joined the club today....

…..the Santana club, that is!!!

I usually don't jump the gun and post before I receive the guitar, but I am MEGA pumped for this one. Most of you probably saw this on Reverb, and the pics are from the advert....





It has HFS/VB pickups. I figure I'll give 'em another shot, and if they aren't doing it for me I'll swap 'em for 59/09s. Looks like it has wood pickup rings...if so I'll replace those with cream plastic rings. Also, I am hoping all the white flecks on the lower portion of the body are just reflection, lol.....

But for now I am really excited. Hopefully it gets shipped soon!

Thanks!! I was surprised to see it had been up for 11 days. The price seemed decent. I had been looking at these for a while, but usually I find the III to look a bit "blah". This one looked good. I am guessing Black Cherry is a little on the dark side. I have a CU22 in Scarlet Red, and it's just vivid enough - I am curious to see how much darker the Santana is.

I am hoping the price was great. I saw a lot of people made offers. I figured if I wanted it I might as well just jump on it. I am VERY curious to see how it feels - especially with the more LP Jr. type shape. For quite a few years in the mid 90s I had a USA Hamer Studio that I absolutely LOVED. The Santana always seemed to be from the same mold as those Hamer Special/Studio models....

I think the price was great, I haven’t seen one that low since... forever. I love a black cherry guitar, and you’re spot on about the Hamer’s. Those are great but these are greaterist!

A friend of mine once said, "If it doesn't grow hair, it's for sale." However, knowing him as I did, I'm not sure that was a limitation either.

Now, to answer your actual question, the answer is..........I don't actively have any Santanas currently posted anywhere for sale (that I know of).

And...............I'm always a potential buyer. I like (good) stuff.
