Just saw him Saturday night in Dallas. Now my seats weren't great, but I don't recall him playing his PRS all night. The axe he seemed to use the most (even switching guitars almost every song) was his SRV signature strat. Given set list rotate, entirely possible the songs he uses the Super Eagle on weren't part of our set. I read he used it on the Dead tour, but has anyone seen him using it on his current tour?

I've watched a lot of videos of JM's current tour. The Super Eagle seems to appear on the outro solos of "Queen of California" and "If I Ever Get Around to Living".
The "SRV" Signature you mentioned is really a 1963 Strat that he's been favoring since the infamous "Black One" has a twisted neck and only gets used on a song or two each night.
Recently a vintage Fiesta Red Strat has entered the touring rig.

I can't blame the guy for touring with various guitars he has spent thousands of hours playing. Would be nice to promote PRS, but the real issue is the music and the tools that get the job done. I just appreciate the talent.
