Oh. My. God. Someone's been reading my mind. John Mayer, Paul--YOU KIDS GET OUT OF MY HEAD!! Seriously, that guitar could have been designed for me. It's probably way out of my price range, but dang, that thing is way cool. And it's only available for a short time, so unless I win the lottery before it gets discontinued, I don't think one of these is in my future, not the near future anyway! I'd love to see a Core Line version of this--I don't need the handwritten label; I don't even really care about the John Mayer connection (although I do like his playing)--but I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I had the cash.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but as someone with Private Stock taste and a Core line budget (which should actually probably be an S2 budget, but I digress) this is exactly how I feel about this guitar. They just did it with the 594, why not the Super Eagle? Even with a cheaper preamp or something, it would be really cool.
