I am indeed happy. It was pretty much my main motivation in pestering him to have my guitar!
He drove over to mine to give the guitar back, I would love to have got all my guitars out and talked shop for hours, but technically I was meant to be working still, and it wasn't long after he got here that the kids got home from school which made everything crazy. But we did have a good chat about gear, and he dropped off his new Strymon nightsky for me to play with which was nice. I'm going to persuade him to take my Cornford Carrera soon - but he had a ban on any new guitars or amps appearing at the moment.
I think he's just got himself a Mesa boogie Filmore which seems popular around here.
