Jason- ET phone home!

We’re starting to get a little worried about our brother Jason. He disappeared without a word and we haven’t heard from him since. While someone taking a break is not unusual here, we were planning some things and he was actively in PM threads about this, and other things, with several members here and then suddenly, nobody has heard from him in weeks.

At first, we figured he might be on a bike trip or something, but it seems odd that he’d leave without saying something to someone, when we were in the middle of plans for a jam thread here and other topics as well.

So… has anyone heard from Jason? We’re starting to get concerned.

Its always worrying when a brother disappears. I hope he comes back. Not that I know Jason besides posts here. Hoping for the best!

I was in a PM thread with him about several guitar topics, and @Moondog Wily and I were in one with him about getting this "Jam Thread" started. We were in constant communication in both threads. Then he just disappeared. No warning, no "I'm going on vacation" no nothing. And again, while not normally a cause for immediate concern if someone takes a break, it's just odd and concerning that it happened when there were some active conversations and actual plans going on.

Mdub and I have been discussing this for weeks now, and decided it was time to put out a message just in case he has been in contact with someone else so at least we'd know he's OK. But, disappearing like this with no notice and it has been weeks now since we've heard from him, is enough to have us concerned for his well being.

Edit to add: We have shared email addresses for the jam thread and sharing tracks to audition, etc., and he hasn't responded to emails either, which is why we don't think he's just taking a break from the forum.

I will add that he had joined another forum I had mentioned to him (The Gear Forum - not going to link here out of respect for our host) and he has not been there either. I am hoping he just lost interest in spending times on the forums, that is the best I can hope for at this time. @JasonE , if you have left the forum or are taking a break from the same, please contact us via this thread and/or PM's/emails. We of course respect you wanting/needing to back out for any reason, but would just like to know that you are OK!!! Thanks for taking the initiative here @DreamTheaterRules !

I have to edit the above. I knew the email address was from our thread about the jam tracks, but it was actually Moondog Wily’s email, not Jason‘s. Makes me feel a little bit better because I’d really be worried if he hadn’t been around here and hadn’t checked his email.
