So folks, I'm not sure if I have told you this before, but Japan is a PRS (and guitar) lover's paradise.
You are absolutely spoilt for choice and there are great deals to be had all the time. No wonder, I have purchased three PRS's from there in the last 15 months or so.

So I have another upcoming biz trip potentially and I had started the process again. Instead of doing it in isolation, sharing is caring and so I just screencaptured the whole thing live.

The three final shortlisted guitars are actually what I will go and check out. Enjoy, but please don't buy them before me. Pretty please:)

Just kidding. I am fickle. If you like it , please go ahead. A lot of Japanese retailers ship overseas but make sure you contact them directly (Digimart can tell you which retailer actually owns the guitar), instead of paying a hefty premium to resellers on Ebay.

Japan has all the good sh!t. Bottom’s Up is like, my dream store.
Bottom's up is an interesting one. Has many unique 1990s era PRSs and old limited runs.
A little out of the way outside of Tokyo (I got terribly lost finding them because of local trains that skip stations and then my phone ran out of battery after a conference call which I took at their reception, so God only knows how I found my way back to the hotel) Staff is friendly enough but more aloof and slightly less foreigner friendly than the stores in Ochanomizu or in Tokyo main city like Shibuya or Shinjuku.
Sadly they are not tax free so you end up paying 10% more than you would need to.

Looking forward to my Olympic trip in August, with some guitar hunting on the side.
Although I'll be looking more for strats, definitely interested in finding a PRS deal.
