So a friend of mine that works at PRS is letting me borrow her 15 year employee JA-15 for a couple of weeks. She doesn't play, but is currently learning and is focusing on her acoustic guitar.

So I get the guitar, it still has the tag on it. It is a spectacular guitar. I plugged it up and it sounds divine! it has 53/10 pups and the cleans are ridiculous and when dirty, it is crisp and clear. I think that and my HB II would be the perfect pair.

Unfortunately I have to give this one back soon....

Anyone else have one of these gems?

flametop - that is outstanding. If I ever get one, I think the natural look is what I would get. What pickups are in there?

This guitar has me thinking about putting my 53/10's in my HB II......

Wow, both of those are gorgeous! I've been jonesing big time, but I just don't see one in my near future. There are two for sale in Denver right now: a black one and a white one with gold hardware. Both look and sound amazing.

Can you post pics of your friend's? Would she mind?

And here's the most plain JA-15 ever produced. ;) I love it to death.

I'm honored to have one with 53/10's.
