JA-15 discontinued?!

Right.

I’m starting to feel like the guy who always brings bad news. Last time I asked a question like this I was informed that PRS has discontinued it’s Core and Artist Package lines. Just spent some time on the PRS site and have another one –
Has PRS decided to discontinue the JA-15?!

Yes. As I understand it, if it's not in the model lists of the 'products' page on their website, it's not currently in production.

It is only available through Private Stock at this moment and you can actually add a Piezo pickup. I order a Core in Livingstone Lemondrop as soon as I heard it was been discontinued and it will be getting to my store today. It should be a killer guitar.

The Artist Package is still in the PDF 2015 catalog - right on the PRS web site.

The JA-15 was not part of the artist package program as it components were already Artist Package Grade/Level, the only option was Gold hardware. We had one before and it is an amazing instrument very versatile

I noticed the artist no longer plays PRS on American Idol anymore and plays a Takamine acoustic.
