I've got the fever...

So... I just got my new CE24 on Friday, and I love it so much that I've just ordered a second PRS guitar!
I blame this forum for its bad influence...

Just ordered a 2018 Tremonti SE. I don't expect to get it until late January.

I've also ordered a bunch of upgrades for it:

• MannMade 2000NOS Bridge
• MannMade Locking Tuners
• Tremonti Treble Pickup (US Humbucker version)
• Tremonti Bass Pickup (US covered nickel version)
• PRS Nut (US version)
• CTS Audio Taper Pots (PRS Spec)
• Orange Drop .22uF Capacitors
• Switchcraft 3-Way Switch
• Switchcraft Jack
• Black PUP rings
• Black toggle switch cap
• PRS Strap Buttons (US version)

So... basically, the only thing I'm keeping on the new guitar, is the wood! Everything else is getting gutted and upgraded to the US version.
The parts cost more than the guitar did, but even at that, the total is still less than 1/2 the price of a US Tremonti.
Plus... I like to 'tinker'. I love taking things apart and doing stuff like this.

I'll be sure to post when the new guitar arrives, and I start the mod project.

The SE tremonti is a Great guitar in the first place.
when all your mods are done the fact that you still don't have a real tremonti will be hanging over your head.
hard to shake off. My humble worthless opinion is that the SE line of guitars Fit Finnish and quality Is at a level far above most other top shelf
brands and models.. just how it is.
