It's so beautiful outside!

My work just threw an appreciation BBQ, so I'm full and I was outside for over an hour and all I want to do is go nap in a hammock.

I hear it's cold elsewhere.

Checking in from Northern Iowa this week. Not a BBQ in sight, just inches of snow and temps in the teens.

I can't help share this...I live in south Florida by the way...
So i got home from work the other day, walked down the driveway to get the mail. I turned around and this is what I saw

Monday morning here...-42 Celsius. I froze parts off that I never knew I had lol

22 degrees and snowing in Chicago and even after 2 weeks of sub-zero temps I still maintain that I love the Mid-west AND all it's cold; snowy goodness!!!

My company's HQ is in Phoenix and I was just out there...beautiful place to visit but I could not live there. In the dead of winter I can always add another layer of clothing to stay warm. But in the heat of a Phoenix/Florida/Texas etc...summer you can only take off so much (said) clothing before finding your way to a poorly ventilated holding cell at the local PD.

When Spring gets here I appreciate it ALL the more, just like I appreciate the relief that fall brings after a long hot summer!

As they say one man's garbage is another man's gold...so wherever you call home I hope there's lot's of gold there for you!

Being in the teens this week feels great compared to the single digit/below zero thing. In fact, it got up to almost 30 a few days ago and I questioned if I should be wearing my winter coat or not.
