As some of you know I caved-in bought an orgasmic Dustie Waring, with its black hardware and a floyd Rose on a CU24 core model it's a freakishly fantastic guitar and the Dustie Waring is even better than the sum of its parts. Tho I'm insanely happy with the sound, feel and crazy good playability of the PRS Waring, I suffer from an extremely advanced case of GAS and was driven to have more. So I also picked up the newest Ibanez Gem 77 blue floral, the just released Jackson Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6 in Laguna Burst, lastly a Schecter SLS C1 FRS Sustainiac in Aquaburst. These guitars a not only great value, but the sustainiac is a real blast to mess with.

Here are some photos, and P.S. - I also picked up a PRS Archon 25 for home abuse

All of my gear is my daughters old bedroom, it's painted a horrific shade of pepto pink. It will eventually transform into a home studio worthy of the music (other people's) being played there.

It is a dragon year, so how about some flame on flame

I showed my wife photos of this years 30th anniversary Dragons. She said and I'll quote "that looks completely badass, I can't believe you don't have one" the look on my face must've told the tale because she said "it must be ridiculously expensive because you've never even tried to sweet talk me into agreeing to let you buy one. How bad can it be? You've bought a bunch of those private stock thingies and artist limited editions and whatever Brazzy is I know you've got that too. Just call some of your guitar shop buddies and get one of those "awesome deals" you're always bragging about. Hey I know! When we go to the factory this year we can ask that Paul guy to give you a big discount on it. At this point I haven't said anything because I know she's gonna pop a vein when I tell her the price, which sucks because she's usually not interested in my hobbies at all. I handed her my iPad with a Dragon from one of our favorite shops, they always do fantastic photography of already photogenic items. I was watching as she scrolled down and saw the price tag, it's a good thing I was watching because I was able to catch my iPad as it came flying at me. I guess we're not gonna talk to that Paul guy after all. Hey, I've got three months to wear her down...

great acquisition Raven

Tell her you'll thin the herd a bit during those 3 months maybe that will wear her out faster

just sayin' :dontknow:

Wow, nice acquisitions. Even in my heyday of guitar buying I was never on that much of a roll. Yeah if you sell a few guitars I guess then you can use that money for whatever you want.......

Nice collection. I'm wondering how those Misha sig are going to be. I think a Holcomb will be on the outs with the 3rd waring coming, but I might check out the Misha next year.

Bangin'! I like the looks of that Archon.

I bet if you sold all the other guitars you have that aren't PRS you could afford two of those dragons... Just an idea.

In my heyday, the most guitars I owned at one time were 5 Gibson Les Pauls, Gibson Korina Flying V, Gibson Korina Modern, and 3 Strats. It was a terrible addiction. Today I received my only electric guitar to my name which is a 2014 PRS Custom Semi Hollow Body. It is still in box because I was told to waite 24 hours to let it acclimate to temp in NY because it was shipped from LA. Most posters said I can open her by now but I am going to wait until tomorrow morning. The other guitar that I never owned , but always loved an wanted just like a PRS, was the Ibanez Jem. Love the color. But I noticed something missing with your new collection. Where is the Floyd Rose on the Jackson?

Anyway, good luck with you new guitars and post some songs, riffs. leads so we can hear the nuances and sounds of each guitar..

Just with Custom Shop and USA made Charvel and Jacksons I could get at least one. But I've actually sold nearly $40k worth of guitars this past year or so and have 2 brand new half stacks I need to sell that still have plastic on them. I've sold all but 2 of my Gibsons and 3 Fenders, all my Polish handmade ( Skervessen and Mayones ) gear and even 11 PRSi including 3 Private Stocks and 3 Artist Package. I sold 2 cherry Vai Jems and all of my Carvins. I think I'm going thru a phase or something. Lol. There are very few guitars in my collection that I wouldn't sell for the right price. What I really want to do is sit down and spec out my own Private Stock, I'd never play a Dragon, just like I'd never play the Frankenstien EVH my local shop offered to sell me for a ridiculous price. The one constant over the 30+ years I've been spending money on fiddles are Charvels. I think that's why I like my new DW so much, it's got that old school SanDimas feel with PRS class added to it. I bet I could almost retire if I got back every penny I've spent on gear......but that's no fun.

Bro! You just need to make the transition to being dealer, think about the discounts!!! :D

Don't think I haven't thought about it! But I can't leave my company, I'm blessed with a great career and I do fairly well money wise. Maybe a part time dealer? Hhhmmmmm

Everybody needs two jobs nowadays, and you wouldn't be doing anything that different than what you're doing already. A little website, some packing tape,....Nobody said you have to be a financially successful dealer. :dancing:
