So, after ZZOUNDS took the final payment out of my bank account this weekend, this actually belongs to me. The bank can't come and repo it. I must say, I STILL have yet to learn the things it can do modeling wise, but it has replaced my analog pedals as far as the effects I get from it. I may spend this year figuring out how to run it direct. (Though, I must admit, I still do like some TUBES running in my signal chain). OOOOOooooorrrrrrrrr......maybe I really won't. It can be just like my cell phone, that is so outdated that it barely runs on the networks any more. But, somehow, I still don't really know much more about what it can do than my LAST phone.....lmao!

These things are easy to operate, just have to get used to the miked sound as opposed to the AITR sound (amp in the room). You could even run it through a class d SS amp in your cab (lot of fun!).

Try it, I dare you!

Congrats Dankat! You're the one that led me to Headrush and MX5. I have two now, one for the lab and one for gigging.

Enjoy man...that de-vig on equipment is always a good feeling!
I went the HeadRush route specifically for ease of use. I had sat around during a lot of the pandemic, indoors, at home, situation listening to tutorials and head to head comparisons of just about all of the major competition in the range. And, to be honest, I didn't hear much of a real "better or worse" difference between ANY of them. Maybe my untrained ear just can't pick up on it.....but even if that is true, it wouldn't make a difference in my level of listening and playing satisfaction. What I DID find is that the way you put together a rig on this unit was "layman" enough for me to understand and get things rolling. Now, it is on Every song on the upcoming album (except for "Sky", a song that I played acoustic -- my A40E -- through a microphone to keep the natural tone). Now that all of my parts are pretty much done, I can spend some real time playing around with it to see what else it can do. :)

Well done KB.

Spot the difference ;)

I don’t love paying bills, but sure do feel better once it’s done.

Congrats!

Congrats!! I know what you mean. I've considered other modelers, but I haven't even dug in to all the possibilities of my Kemper, so this year is the year of learning...
No need to consider others. You already have the one that I think sounds and feels the best of the ones I have plugged into. I always end up plugging into my Kemper over others.
