I had a lot of fun being a part of this album "It's All About Funk" which was released 10 years ago today (January 28, 2015). It was the first album I was ever involved with and I am happy with my contributions on it to this day ;~)) It is an album ALL ABOUT FUNK as the title suggests. I have some more contributions for the Funk world that have been on the shelf, and hopefully I will make it back to the genre sooner rather than later ;~)) Check it out and let me know what you think!

Here are my favorite trax from this album (the title track is also one of my favs):
Who Got Funk? (track 2)
Corner Of Funk & Boogie (track 6)
Funk Slitherin' (track 8 - perfect for year of the Snake which starts Wednesday)

And here is a lyric video of "Funker's Dozen"!

Oh hell yeah...I like 'em. Funker's Dozen seems to bleed a little reggae too?
You know, I never thought about it but I think you are correct, a bit of a reggae vibe to it! I can assure you that was not intentional ;~)) A friend 10 years ago said he thought the intro of this one sounded like a Grateful Dead song, but I can not remember which song. I agreed with him though, but once again, not intended ;~))

Glad you dig it! We did some fun stuff IMO as Da' Mutta' Funka's ;~)) One day, I will finish my Funk Opera "Oogie In Funkerland"!!! The story is 90% written, I just need to put a LOT of work into producing it which is kind of why it has been on the shelf for 9 years or so, the vision is huge, and so is the lift ;~((
