Been a while and life just got crazy on me what with work and moving house and discovering that at 65 you ain't as fit or strong as you used to be...lol.
Looks like it might be calming down a little but sorting through 18 years of accumulated junk while moving was an eye opener.
Nothing to report on new PRS gear, in fact with the house move I actually sold 4, mainly as they duplicated the functions that other guitars already fulfilled and really had just been sitting there as wall art!
Old age and arthritis is also a *****!
My right hand and fingers are taking a toll, fortunately left hand not bad atm but I'm sure its coming.
Cant complain too much as compared to many I'm still a lot better off and right side up!
Thats about all for now folks, will try to be a little more active down the road.
Cheers!

Always great to hear from you.

I am 61 and yes, it is difficult to realize you can't do as much as you used to do.

Like the late Toby Keith said "I ain't as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was"

Luckily my back and shoulders are my weak point, not my hands, so my guitar playing is not affected.
The gym on the other hand gives new meaning to No Pain No Gain, I am sure this is not the Pain they are talking about.

Stay Healthy!

Good to here you have made your final (hopefully) move! As for the arthritis, I wish you the best on being able to continue to enjoy your instruments (and other hand related activities) for many years to come!! Might be a little pain involved, but the reward makes it worthwhile I hope ;~)) Looking forward to your contributions regardless of your perceived value of the content!!!

The title of this thread, "I'm still kicking folks" suddenly reminded me of "Let's eat grandma."

🤣
Which just reminds me of a simply terrible joke that I have never been able to get out of my head.
" Mummy, mummy I don't like Grandma"
" Well leave her on the side of your plate then".
Thank you thank you..I'm here all week.

I'm glad you're here, we're all on this path and I think it's a privilege to grow old even if it sucks sometimes!
A few years ago I decided there's no reason to get any older - I'm just gonna stay at this age for a few years.

"If you can accomplish that time-stopping trick, why stay the same age? Why not go for a better trick and get younger?"

"Wait, this is news. I can do that?"

"No, but you can't do what you want to do and stop time, either."

"But I feel and look the same as I did last year."

"Laz, you looked terrible last year, too. So there's that, and you're also more stupid than you were last year, which I have to say, has to be considered a significant accomplishment."

"I call accomplishments progress."
