Over the last few years, financial issues have kept me from playing PRS guitars like I used to, so I hadn't logged into this site as much.

A couple months ago, I got back into the habit of checking the site every day, and I'm really happy I did. This is a great, positive environment made up of people who love the best guitars on earth. It's always a pleasure to see the NGDs posted. I find myself happily living vicariously through many of you in this respect.

Thanks everybody, for making this an awesome place to talk guitars and gear. I hope to see many of you soon, including you knuckleheads I've already met over the years...:D

I am new here. My name is Lola. I just bought a McCarty S2594 and it’s quite possibly the nicest guitar I have ever played. Welcome back!

Glad to see you back, Brian. And I'll speak only for myself - I don't care if someone has a PRS or not, what matters is that you be a decent person in here. There are people who've had multiple PRSi whose absence didn't bother me a bit. And folks with one or even none who've been some of the best contributors here. As I try to convince my wife, it's not the quantity you have, it's the quality. She usually says, "What if you're oh for two?" and I can't figure out who she's talking about because she doesn't read this board.

My name is Lola.
And she's a showgirl - who has never heard that joke before! :p:rolleyes:

I'm fairly new here as well. Signed up last November because I had a lot of questions about certain PRS guitars of which I never owned but was strongly considering. Got many responses and found out folks here were very willing to help. Finally narrowed my search down to a Vela semi hollow body, had many questions and folks were more than willing to lend their expertise which helped me to decide.

Got my Vela in December and I cannot put it down! Has the sound I heard in my head but couldn't find.

I've been on a few other forums throughout the years and in my opinion this is by far the best. Good people here!

I just became active again a short while back. I don't post a lot but I read a lot. I definitely recognize a number of names from the past here.

My collection is still growing. I don't think I have ever sold a PRS that made it into my stable. I am however to the point where I think some other guitars may have to go. I am running out of room to store them. I am not sure if any of the PRS will make the sell list.

A show girl? Huh?
Lola Copacabana? That Lola?

Yes welcome back - they're a really nice bunch here - and very helpful and knowledgeable.

There's a story about the "cherry cola" lyric - apparently it originally referred to a well-known drink brand (the one with the red and white logo), but Ray Davies was asked to re-record it to avoid any copyright issues!
