I have a S2. Lately the pickups have been cutting out. They sometimes come back to full power but it takes a long time. It is mostly my bridge pick. It started with cut out on full strum now really low volume. Any ideas as to what might cause this?

I tried that it didn’t work. I adjusted the pickup height and blow out the dust in the pot compartment. It works now. We’ll have to see if it holds.

I agree with bad switch. I had that with my 245. While you were dusting in the control cabinet, did you notice any off color solder joints? Cold solder joints can be another culprit.
Thanks I’ll double check those. They all seemed good but I’ll check again

I concur its probably the switch, but could be a solder joint. I'd get some contact cleaner for the switch and try that first if it happens again,. While in there check out solders and switch contact points. If it persists get a switchcraft and be done. Good luck!

Yeah, Contact cleaner could be an easy fix...
Also, just my opinion, but keeping the axe in its case/bag when not being played helps keep dust out of the electronics.
(You may already do this, which is good. Good luck getting it sorted out.)
Sounds like a reasonably easy fix.
