Do any production Core guitars come with Vintage Gloss finish, or does a person have to go private stock to get that option?

Most Private Stocks use High Gloss Nitro, iirc. Since the end of 2019 all Core guitars have used Nitro over CAB

I was basing my question on a recent tech article by Sweetwater:

"PRS currently offers a total of four clear coats: Gloss, Semi-gloss, Satin, and Vintage Gloss. Vintage Gloss stands out from the crowd because the formulation contains no elastomers. Elastomers add a level of elasticity to nitrocellulose that helps prevent lacquer checking. Guitars finished in Vintage Gloss will begin to check much faster than modern guitars, resulting in a lived-in feel."

Is this outdated info?

No, it isn't outdated. The only thing outside of PS that I am aware that it was used on was the 594 Joe Walsh Ltd from last year. That was either 200, or 250 guitars. Other than that, I think you'd need to go PS.

I have a wood library that came with a tag that states my finish is the same nitrocellulose lacquer as a PS. Does that tag come on all guitars, and does that mean it may not be over cab? I’m trying to figure it out and received a canned answer from PRS about care of the finish regardless of the finish type.
