The original and best sounding Santana PRS.

Originally retailed at £1200!

As the original this guitar nearly put PRS under, due to the use of the wrong wood with this guitar. The wood was destined for higher cost guitars.

Its a Se Santana for sale somewhere.
Just wondering if this is a load of bs or is it a true statement.

Well, as a casual observer, PRS doesn't seem prone to doing something like misdirecting wood, especially to the point of nearly going out of business. And the SE line is made a fair distance away from the Core line, so I'll call BS.

That aside, I've been impressed with the SE Santanas I've tried.

You are correct Mike. Its going cheap on fleabay at the moment. Says its got seymour 59 pickups and all the electrics are upgraded. Stays in tune all the time and the bs story too.

Seen it on Fleabay...

Wouldn't trust the guy as far as I could throw him starting off with a tall tale like that. May or May not be SD's in there but given the BS story he starts off with it puts everything else in doubt.
