Is this normal for the P90 pickup rout of a PRS SE Soapbar?

I removed the Gibson P90's that were in the guitar and I'm getting ready to put some Bare Knuckle "Nantucket" P90's in it.

I took the guitar all apart last year and put copper foil in the pickup cavities and in the control cavity to see if it would reduce hum.

It didn't.

But the question I have is about the black foam and springs under the pickup.

Is that a Gibson thing or a PRS thing?

Thanks!

So whoever installed the Gibson P90's got it slightly wrong.

The sticky foam was attached to the ends of the pickups and the mounting screws did not pass through the springs...but it still did the job fine.

I'll put it in right this time.
