Is this genuine

Hi guys,
I found this on eBay and I'm very tempted but I've never seen one in this colour before. The listing is claiming its new but the 2014 line-up states that these models are only available in black or 3 tone 'burst.
Do you think it's genuine or a fake?

Real, but it looks like it's a 2010 model, judging by the "K" on the back of the headstock:

"New" doesn't have to mean "manufactured within the last six months", it just means no-one else has ever owned the item since it was available for sale. New Old Stock (NOS) items are often quite a bonanza, if an item is no longer in production but a retailer finds a stack of them sitting in the warehouse, forgotten and unsold.

So I would say that this is indeed "new", but it might not be in perfect condition if it has been sitting around as a demo unit in some dusty guitar store...

Yep, it is a 2010 and would be NOS if it has never been sold.

One local Phoenix dealer has a 2002 PRS on the wall that has never been sold. It's even got winged tuners. Yet, they price it like a brand new one, so it will probably NEVER sell.
