Is this an all time record for the PRS forum? Or is it just what happens when the mod checks in?

Now edited to add a self banning, or as D6 calls it, a “rage quit.” This could be one for the record books!

P.S. we did get a cheapie in the pair though. The other lock was a new guy looking to buy a used PRS guitar. His mistake, for future reference, was asking “does anyone have one they want to sell? “ instead of “ does anybody hear know where I can find one?” Which would have been exactly the same, but legal.

It's actually something I never paid a lot of mind to. In another life I was one of those behind the scenes soldiers (as well as being an active member) that had those types of duties. And I don't miss it at all.
I suppose had they both been threads I was interested in I might have more of an opinion on it, but I wasn't really watching so.

I like the challenge of getting banned here. TGP was too easy to get banned it was hardly a challenge (positive comments about prior bad experiences with vendors got me banned), but being banned by TGP puts us in good company.

Folks around here who haven't been banned from TGP are hardly worth sparring with.

Yeah, I miss nothing from TGP. That other place is something else. It's amazing how **** can go sideways between people of similar interests.

If I would get banned from here, though; it would hurt. I like you all, and love* quite several of you

I’ve only had “temporary” bans on TGP, so I’m not really “worthy”!

Yep, I notified a manufacturer/brand that one of their employees with the brand name in their signature was posting heinous comments that could get them "cancelled" and got a warning from TGP; I also notified TGP that they prolly shouldn't have those comments on their site either - but that also didn't go well. In another thread someone was having troubles with a retailer who I'd had past bad experiences so I referenced my story and suggested they contact the retailer's management instead of walking away from the vendor.

So yeah, multiple attempts at helpful comments got me banned. You don't mess with any vendor/retailer over there, but this vendor sponsored forum is much more tolerant

If I had known I would someday be banned I would have been less constructive and instead would have had a lot more fun
