Found this PRS guitar online. Said they replaced the pickups with Seymour Duncan Custom Shop PAFS. Trying to make sure this one is authentic before I make a decision on it. I already sent it to PRS support, but have not replied yet. Thanks!

This whole post is “as I understand it.” The SN is assigned when the build begins. You’ll find them in the neck cavities, along with a modcat sticker describing the guitar.

I had a 594 that was in the 28Xk range. It was a mid-October completion date.

The year on the headstock is painted in the actual year of completion. If something delays that completion, like having to do a refinish for some reason, that can cause the completion date to be delayed.
