Is this a fake?

Hello everyone, I found a used custom 24 online, and i checked the serial number and it mached with the website, but im concerning whether it is forged. Can anyone take a look of the pics and help me identifying the guitar It is really hard to buy a custom 24 in Hong Kong with limited support. I really hope this is a real one. Thank you so much for all the help

Really? :'( , coz you know, nowadays the Chinese replicas is getting better and better, i am really concerned about that and it has no invoice with it. I was thinking even the certificate is forged. Moreover, the price of the guitar is shocking, its 4500 HKD only, thats my biggest concern.

They aren't even close to that good. The guitar pictured is 100% legit. Your seller on the other hand is on you to screen.

The top is one piece, not two pieces glued together which is how it's usually done.

I agree that it's 100% legit but I'm puzzled about the top.

My Core HBii (not a 10top) also has a 1-piece Top/Back...

It's probably easier to see on the back as that has no hardware to distract from the top or join.

When compared to the Back of my 594 HBii, which has a 2-piece bookmatched top, the join down the middle is very clear - again helped by a lack of hardware...

So you can see the difference between a 1 piece and a 2-piece Bookmatched top. With a 1 piece, you need a much wider piece of Flame Maple so rarer and now, pretty much only Private Stock, but they do/have existed in 'Core' models in the past...

Oh my god man, thank you so much for providing so much information to me! I learnt a lot from your comment, thank you! The seller said its a 2014 guitar, so maybe back in the old days, they used 1 piece more often? idk.
