Is the PRS GENII bridge compatible with SE guitars?

The PRS store description says they're compatible, but is this only with the newer models made in China? Or with any PRS SE that has a tremolo?

product description:

Tremolo Bridge - Includes tremolo bridge, tremolo arm, and saddle adjustment tool. Mounting screws sold separately. Compatible with PRS Core instruments. Not a replacement for the current Gen III tremolo. Also fits CE, SE, and S2 models.

If you desire upbendings with your vibrato system, but you aren't willing to cut out wood, then the PRS vibrato systems aren't no option.
Then I recommend Vega-Trem bridges. PRS Artist Simon McBride installed one on his Single Cut.

I don't need more travel, I'm happy. I just wanted an improvement on the original bridge, and maybe the maan made one would have been better for me due to price issues.

Well, I've replaced the SE with the CORE, and I have a couple of questions.
First, is it normal for the Core to have a bit of space between the saddles? The SE seems tighter, and is it also normal for the high E string screw to be longer than the rest of the screws? How can I be sure it's a genuine PRS tremolo?
