Is modding PRS guitars common?

For me, SE yes, Core absolutely no reason to. Changing strings on a Core is as far as I'll go!

I’ve an SE245 that I put new strings on recently, I think it was supplied with 9’s it has 10’s on now!

So no significant mods...

I’ve modded all my SE’s into exactly what I want to hear. My S2’s are bone stock and bitchin. I have a CE that had 57/08’s put in. My other core are stock. I buy SE’s for what I can make them, and US guitars for what they are.
