Is It Possible To Custom Order An Altered Guitar Without Going Private Stock?

Have you considered going with a custom build from a luthier? You could get anything you want including a real Les Paul with the neck carve you prefer and a shaved down heel for easier access to the higher frets.

Honestly, if the choice was between, you can't have the neck you want vs another guitar entirely, I'd probably take the stock McCarty 594. There's something about PRS that just feels... PRS. Rob Chapman has shown it so many times on the Andertons channel, when blindfolded and instantly knows before anything else. He's good with the other guitars, but he's 100% success rate. I've gotta agree, I've never really vibes much with other brands as much. I love how Solar feels, and I love some elements of how Gibson sounds. But damn PRS aces both. So it's a wish to get the neck getting sexy and perfect, and I'd take the little extra money to make it happen (not private stock money) but if its not possible, I'd probably just take the guitar and still love it.

And importantly: neck shape does something to the physics/mass of the guitar. There is a reason there is a heel on the guitars. It is not pretty, compared to those nice slick heels of (lets say) Jackson neck through body designs, but there fore a reason. Ghost notes, dead spots etc could emerge. Not something you want.
