Is it possible to change the color of the pickup cover?

Hello,
I'd like to change the gold pickup cover to nickel color. (58/18 TM : GOLD, 57/08 TM : Nickel )
Is it possible to separate the pick-up cover of nickel color of 57/08, take off the 58/18 gold pick-up cover, and put it on it?
As I searched, when I separated the pickup cover, there were sticky things on the pickup.

I want to work neatly at home alone, is it difficult enough to buy a pharynx on my own? Want to know the opinion of the master.

Yes you can do it at home and its not difficult.

A good soldering iron and little finese is needed to seperate the cover from the pickup because of the solder PRS uses to secure the cover but even thats not bad. Personally I wouldn't use the 5708 covers and would get unetched generic nickel covers but thats me. I definitely wouldn't put the gold ones on the 5708.
