...or do the PRS necks feel different depending on the color underneath the V12 finish?
I have owned 4 PRS guitars:
-2012 CU24 Sanata Yellow with Mahogany Natural/Clear finished neck (smooth as silk).
-2013 CU24 Floyd Green Fade with Korina Neck Natural/Clear finish (smooth as silk).
-2012 SC58 Crab Blue with Mahogany Natural/Clear finished neck (smooth as silk).
-2012 Stripped 58 Vintageburst with Mahogany RED STAIN FINISH neck (feels sticky).
I want to buy a SC58 (new old stock) but I am afraid to buy it because it has a painted back side/neck, and I am afraid it will feel like the last PRS I have with the RED STAIN FINISH.
Is this my imagination, or is this real.
Thanks,
cw
