Is it just me or are the S2 vintage bass & HFS more dynamic than the #7?

After listening to numerous videos it appears the Custom 24 sounds more lively and dynamic than the number 7 pups in the S2 line. Or is it the closer spacing of the pups ?

No idea, but the S2 HFS / Vintage bass compare very well with the Core HFS / Vintage bass, as I have both

Unless the videos you're watching are direct back-to-back comparisons using the same settings etc. then you're wasting your time.
The only way sure way to know how a pickup sounds is to play it yourself (or at least get feedback from people who own the pickups).
