Is it ever a bad time to dance?

Music might free your soul, but dancing frees your spirit. I probably embarrassed my family more than once by doing some random dance on the
streets or in a mall, but there's no excuse not to bust loose in the comfort of your own home.
But was I wrong to spin in the mall, or try to match my turns to somebody next to me on the ski hill.

Why do you think my only live playing was at my son's wedding, and will be at my upcoming daughter's wedding? 'Cause you don't have to dance, when you're on stage with a guitar!! And, if you jump around while playing, they can't make fun of your dance moves!

Alcohol helps though, and I found myself several times trying to invent a waltz variation for 5/8 rhytm.

Sidebar.....after 25 years in private practice, here is a tip I gleaned from listening to hundreds (thousands??) of very attractive, nubile female patients who were in therapy 'cause they were trying to: find, work out, improve, fix, get out of, relationships.

Concept...women LOVE guys who dance...they find it super sexy. And, while we are staring at their various body parts...they are equating the man's ability to dance with his ability to perform sexually.

Trust me on this....it's something that I learned....and was never able to use practically in real life. but you single guys who aren't afraid to show your moves...you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

I'm forever in 7/8 when everyone else is in 4/4!

That's something i've heard a lot Doc. I think my inability to dance has more to do with feeling self-conscious than actual physical limitations. Could it be women pick up on the confidence rather than the ability?
