I've read a lot of arguments and debate about which is better IOS (ipad, ipod, etc) and Android operating systems for tablets. From a musician's point of view I would assume most would agree you can do more with IOS... any dissenting views? Are there musician apps for Android that are better, equal or rival those for Apple products?

Not sure about recording specifically, but I don't believe there are any apps like amplitube, JamUp pro(best IMO) that operate on droid devices. That's why I'll never consider switching from iPhone unless it they make it work and work well. iOS is your best bet for sure.

Agreed. iOS and JamUp XT Pro is where it's at.
