Hi all Mark here new to the forum and PRS convert. I'm 25 and live in the UK and since playing PRS I find it difficult to play anything else (just that good). My 1st PRS was a DC3 unfortunately I don't have that as I PX it for my current 2004 CU22 AP that I have since customised.

CU22 AP Antique Natural modifications
-PUPS Bareknuckle VHII (B) Riff Raff (N)
-Elecronics ceramic cap swapped for RS guitar works modern .022 cap and the tone push/pull pot switches the Riff Raff from series to parallel
-Indian rosewood PUP rings
-Ebony tuner buttons
-Ebony trem tip
-Flame maple switch tip
-speed knobs changed to lampsade knobs
-new tremolo came with a gold trem

When I figure out how to post pics I shall.

My 1st question to you good fellows is that I have the brass block from the gold tremolo that I removed from the CU22. I am thinking of getting a SE Santana, will the US brass block fit the SE tremolo?

Welcome and lovely job on the mods!

As for the trem block interchangeability, not 100% certain but apparently the US trems no longer fit the SE bodies. They used to be the same dimensions (except for the trem arm) but not any more. No idea when the change over occurred either. With this in mind, if the SE Santana is new, I would think the trem blocks (or trems) can't be swapped.

ah ok might get an S2 Starla then that looks sweet too. I need a better camera the natural finish looks a lot nicer in person. Thank you for the reply.

Interesting, I'd really like to know for sure when (or if) the changeover occurred (hence my use of the word "apparently" as I haven't checked with my own hands).

I'm interested as a S2 will prob happen one day and would most likely upgrade the bridge to USA or Mannmade (depending on what's in the drawer at the time).
