Greetings to everyone. I just joined the forum as I'm excited about having reserved a new McCarty S2 594 at Sweetwater and anxiously waiting to hear when they will ship it. I don't currently own a PRS but have owned 2 in the past. An SE Santana (years ago) and an American model (forgot number or designation) that had a bolt-on maple neck and rotary pickup selector (sounded great but didn't work for me as a gigging instrument because of the rotary selector....quick pickup changes were impossible). I'm excited because every PRS I've ever seen has appeared to be exquisitely made and sounded and played great. This new addition will complemtent my current collection of Les Pauls , SG's, Strats and Tele's. I look forward to conversing with you all in the future.

Congrats and welcome! 594s are wonderful, especially the Pattern Vintage neck carve.

Sounds like your old PRS was a CE22 or CE24 (difference is the number of frets). Glad to have you back.
