Introduce yourself!

Hi everyone. I am a 56 year old female. Have been playing for 11 years. I have been playing in bands for 5 years and I am loving every minute of it. I just got my S2 594 after waiting for a year for it. This journey just keeps getting better and better.

Looking forward to seeing your New Guitar Thread, with pics, when you can. Congrats.

Hi new old guy member from the best kept secret little town of Birmingham,Al. Ive had a couple S2 Customs and not long ago traded a Gibson traditional gold top for a USA Tremonti which is probably the best guitar I'll ever own. I would like to cover the bridge pickup with a brushed nickel cover like the neck. Anyone know where I could buy a prs cover?

Hey jdcrossroads (aka Old Guy)! I think you will find many here who are in your birth range, so welcome to the mostly old club!! Congrats on the Tremonti, looking forward to the pix (aka old guy porn)!!!

Can someone give me baby walk me through this. I am not tech savvy and have never had to do this before. And of course I would love to show off my PRS McCarty! Lol

So basically Lola, what you need is JUST the string that ends with .jpg. You then use the little "mountain" icon which is 6th from the right along the top in the post box where you type stuff. Here is your image inserted using this method:

Why is it not easier? It is complicated ;~)) Some will argue that this is not Instagram, but it is a whole lot more than that! Suffice it to say, you will have to deal with it ;~)) Let me know if you need any additional assistance!!!

Awesome guitar, congrats!!

Let’s just face it! Anything with new age tech scares me to death. I have to deal with computers all day long at work but I know most of the programs inside out and am very familiar with them but throw something new at me and all hell ensues. This the only thing in life I have trouble at adapting to. I hate it!!

@Lola with Postimage you just use the “share to forum code” below your pic and put that code in this text box and hit “post reply”.
You have been more then helpful. Thx so much!! I really dislike navigating around a new forum because everything is so foreign to me. When my programs change at work and I have to go on a course to learn it sends me into a tailspin. I can adapt to other things in life but have trouble with this. But thx once again.

Glad you are getting sorted Lola, the regulars had to spoon feed me along too. Surprising as I was an admin on another VB based forum site for 10 years, but this one is vastly different in the parameters they use. I already used dropbox and it's OK, but there are other hosting sites that are far better than it is. But I get it done. That's a sweet machine you have btw.
