Welcome JBBUSYB33! Sounds like you drank the kool-aid a long time ago!! Congrats and welcome to the new guitar enablers club!!!

My name is Kelly. I live in New York and play in several bands there. I just got my first PRS, an SE Custom 24 Black Gold Quilt Top, and it should arrive in the mail on Tuesday. I grew up playing an Epiphone Les Paul and knew nothing about it. The first guitar I purchased with my own money was a Fender Strat HSS. I knew nothing about it or pickups or anything of that sort until I started to do my homework during COVID and learned that I had a Clapton Boost and TBX-equipped Strat. I spent a lot of money in COVID on pedals and pickups and a few years later, I've learned a I'm a Mesa Boogie guy and that precious first Strat is now an at-home guitar because of its floating after-market Vega Trem and the guitar's sentimental value. I've been playing an Epiphone Les Paul Custom with a Fralin Pure PAF bridge and Noiseless Alnico Rod P90 neck pickup live. I made the PRS plunge because I've heard great things about these guitars and their versatility and trem systems.

I am more in the LP side but I am giving it a try.
I have 58/15lt pups, will see how it pans out

Welcome Kelly. I have a Custom 24 SE myself and I really like it, was also my first PRS 3 years ago.
Echo2112, I think you'll like those LTs, I know I sure do. Significant difference between them and the "s" pups in my Custom 24
